Let’s Talk About Diabetes

There are two types of diabetes:

Type 1 Diabetes

  • People diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, also called “childhood diabetes” do not produce insulin on their own and usually have this condition from childhood. The cause of childhood diabetes is usually the drinking of cow’s milk.
  • Insulin is a hormone made by beta cells in the pancreas. When we eat, insulin is released into the blood stream where it helps to move glucose from the food we have eaten into cells to be used as energy.
  • Without insulin, the sugar (that fuels all of our cells) from foods that are consumed cannot be escorted into the cells that make up the body. Type 1 diabetics need to take insulin regularly and monitor their blood glucose levels for the rest of their lives.

Why do we exercise?

Generally, exercise is any bodily activity that enhances or maintains physical fitness and overall health and wellness.

We also understand it is to release the toxins stored in our body from years of exposure. Then how do you release those toxins?

What Every Woman Must Know!

WHAT EXPERTS SAID REGARDING PMS AND MENOPAUSE

Rhonda Malkmus
"Estrogen Replacement Therapy places women at high risk." - National Institute of Health Consensus Development Conference 1984.

"Estrogen replacement increases the risk of cancer during use and for many years after it is discontinued." - Obstetrics & Gynecology, 1990.

"Why do doctors give women Estrogen Replacement Therapy
(ERT) at the end of menopause if estrogen is carcinogenic?
I believe that menopause is nature's way of decreasing estrogen formation in woman in order to protect her from cancer. Who are we to think that we know better than nature. I do not believe any woman needs estrogen unless she has had a hysterectomy at a very young age." - Dr. Lita Lee

"A mounting body of evidence suggests that other sources of estrogen contribute to the background level of carcinogens in our food environment. Milk, commercial eggs, and other dairy products often have traces of estrogen.
Most commercial grade meat is laced with it. Birth control pills are based on it." - Dr. Betty Kamen

"Report in English journal Lancet, suggested we are awash in a 'sea of estrogens' which might help to explain the rise in male prostate cancer paralleling the rise in female breast cancer - men too, have had immeasurable exposure to estrogens by eating commercially-raised, DES-tainted beef and poultry for 35 years." - Forward to The Menopause Industry

"The consumption of foods and beverages which are high in sugar content is associated with the prevalence of PMS." - Journal of Reproductive Medicine

Let's find out what Rhonda Malkmus from The Hallelujah Diet, USA, (AUTHOR OF RECIPES FOR LIFE FROM GOD’S GARDEN) had to say!

Why Drink Carrot Juice?

In juicing, pure carrot juice not only tastes good, but it also has a vast array of nutrients and health benefits. It's also easily absorbed and highly cleansing. If you’re mixing with other vegetables and fruits, I recommend it composes at least about 60% of the total amount of juice you drink in a glass.

Should We Soak Raw Nuts?

The phytic acid content of nuts isn’t actually anything to worry about…unless nuts make up a major portion of your calorie intake. And they shouldn’t. Nuts should supplement your diet.
